There is one thing that the Christian needs more than he needs any other thing. One thing on which all others rest; and on which all others turn. It is certain from the Word of God, and also from our own experience, that "we know not what we should pray for as we ought." But "the Spirit Himself helpeth our infirmities" (Rom. 8:26). He knoweth what we should pray for. He knoweth what we need. He maketh intercession for us and in us. He teacheth us how to pray, and in Eph.


Many books have been written attempting to explain how to get at the real meaning of scripture. Theologians call the study of this subject, hermaneutics . However, the Bible itself explains this and thus our title, The Internal Laws - or Principles - of Biblical Interpretation. We have chosen eight of these principles contained in the Divine Library. These principles are tools by which the Holy Spirit enables the honest workman to discover the proper interpretation of the Word.
