There is an interesting parallel between the events of Luke 24 and Acts 28 which help to focus our attention on the nature of Acts 28 in relation to the de facto "lo ammi" condition that Israel would experience subsequent to the close of the book of Acts.

He Leads Us Through, Not Into"...we went through fire and through water: but thou brought us out into a wealthy place."

A more careful and critical look at the context of Acts 28 reveals that the message formerly sent to the Jews was then sent to the Gentiles. Further, that Paul was formerly preaching the kingdom of God with content from Moses and the prophets which Luke does not explicitly modify and informs us that in the hired house after Acts 28:28 Paul continued to preach the kingdom of God. The salvation of God ("it") was to be preached to the gentiles and as Paul believed (indicative mood) they would hear it! Paul later would need to declare " all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes. (2 Tim. 1:15 KJV)".

The Mystery gets into Acts 28 by reading it into the context -- otherwise it simply is NOT there! The study of Acts 29 is about refining our understanding of the close of the book of Acts and helping all who have ears to hear to perfect their understanding.

Paul likely had at least 2 imprisonments in Rome. This in conjunction with a clearer and more careful appreciation of the context of Acts 28 means that "the Mystery" was likely revealed after Acts 28 in a time which covers events and missionary journeys and imprisonment(s). This unwritten record I call "Acts 29". When Paul says "I Paul the prisoner of Jesus Christ" -- this means Paul is writing from a latter imprisonment subsequent to the imprisonment of Acts 28.

Why do God’s people sometimes do bad things? Most of us know someone who used to walk in the Spirit (as best as we could tell) and now they are openly walking in the flesh. Since most religionists think people are saved by their good deeds, it is no problem to brush them off as becoming lost again. We do know that there are counterfeits and that some people have never been saved, such as those in Matthew 7:21-23. I want to discuss those who have been genuinely saved and then turned aside.

Paul admonished God’s saints at Corinth:

The mid-Acts position presupposes that with Paul came "The Mystery". That is there is little differentiation between Paul's Acts ministry and Post Acts ministry. There are some very heavy penalties for this mistake.

Introduction

We have recently begun a new series called the U,V and W's of right division. This title has been carefully chosen because I do not wish to give the incorrect notion that the series will be the "final word" on R/D but that it will extend the already published  "ABC's of R/D" https://rightdivision.com/study/abcs-right-division

It was interesting to see that the American College of Pediatricians has written that to teach a child that transgender sex is normal is actually child abuse.

"The American College of Pediatricians urges educators to reject all policies that condition children for transgender sex. Facts, not ideology, determine reality." Leonardo Blair, Christian Post.Com

"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves..." 2 Timothy 3:1-2

The word "perilous" means "dangerous." These are dangerous times...murders, mass murders, random killings, family murders. This is the result of men loving themselves...they care about no one else; my life is important, yours is not!

We have had multiple killings in bars, churches, parks, schools, shopping centers...no place is safe.

Someone asked me if I could talk to one person from my past, who would it be. Without a doubt it would be my daddy. I ran many years behind in realizing how much he loved me, how brilliant he was, how he sacrificed for me and what good advice he gave me. Usually we do not think much of a father's love; we think more of his discipline or instruction, yet the first time "love" is mentioned in the Bible, it is a father's love.
