The lesson on July 5, 2020 was part 3 of the "John's Gospel" study. Today's lesson covered the third chapter of the book "Life Through His Name" by Charles Welch. Wayne spent a few minutes reviewing the motivation behind this study then continued the lesson looking the "Welsherian" view of Acts 28 and his perspective on the three sendings of Matthew 22. Charles Welch takes a hard position on the Acts 28 transition to Israel being LoAmmi (as opposed to what Wayne has established with his Acts 29 study and perspective). Wayne then focused on answering these questions: Why so many...

The lesson on June 28, 2020 was part 2 of "John's Gospel". Today's lesson was covering chapter 2 of the book "LIFE THROUGH HIS NAME" being an exposition of the Gospel of John by Charles H. Welch. We learn of the prologue specified in verses 1-18 of chapter one of John. Wayne introduces the "Welsharian Perspective" of Acts 28 and draws this out on the whiteboard to help identify the points that Charles Welsh was making. In reading what PAul wrote in 2 Tim 4:1 KJV "I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and...

The lesson taught on June 14, 2020 was an introduction to the new study on "John's Gospel". Wayne takes time to explain why he is motivated to study the Gospel of John, particularly how it is of a unique context verses Matthew, Mark and Luke. John is written for the Gentile. We were given homework to download a book in PDF form and study for the next lesson. Of the many signs that were given, there are only 8 miracles identified in John and they were for the Gentiles. The unique aspect of John is that it will describe the "highways" ministry to whosoever will come to the wedding. ...

This lesson was taught on May 31, 2020 and was part 57 of the "Genesis" study and was the final lesson in the study. Wayne opens explaining that we will end the study in Genesis because he has been moved by the spirit to take on the Gospel of John because it is particular and will help him solve some of the issues he has been wotking on. Wayne then piccks up from the previous lesson explaing how we have looked at the hope of Abraham in relation to the second coming. Wayne reminds us that there are three clear adoptions as sons. One to receive with the Earth as an inheritance, one to...

He takes us back to Genesis 15:5-6 KJV where God explained to Abraham how He will give him an heir "5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. 6 And he believed in the Lord; and he counted it to him for righteousness." The apostle Paul then elaborates and fills in more detail that we hadn'...

The lesson taught on May 17, 2020 was part 55 of the "Genesis" study. Wayne reminds us we see alot of what started in Genesis play out during the Acts period. Paul takes the writings of Genesis and shows doctrine concerning the election of the Nation of Israel and the fact that salvation is by grace through faith. After Acts 29, when PAul received the Mystery, the mention of Abraham is gone because now salvation by grace is with faith in Christ. PAul now presents salvation in a new context apart from Abraham because there is a new hope revealed to PAul the prisoner for us Gentiles. ...
