The lesson on June 30, 2019 was part 18 of the "Genesis" study. Wayne announced that we will be traveling the next three weeks for his summer break from his teaching responsibilities at University and left us with a lesson focused on the eternal life we have in resurrection. Eternal life was given at the tree of Life in the Garden of Eden and the opposite of eternal life is perish. We learned about how there is a voice in Greek and that is has three tenses. An aorist tense which is a secondary tense, and accordingly, in the indicative mood it indicates passive action, there is active...

The lesson on June 23, 2019 was part 17 of the "Genesis" study. Last week Wayne finished he study of the temple and brought the attention back to the creation of Adam. In the temple lessons we learned that God's perspective was that his desire is for the world to be saved through the work of Jesus and the resurrection and reviewed verses in John's gospel that pointed this out. In Genesis 2, Wayne reminded us the formula for a living soul which was Man being formed out of clay then God added the breath of life which then caused Adam to become a living soul (in Genesis 6, it says the...

The lesson on June 16, 2019 was part 16 of the "Genesis" study. In the lesson, Wayne looks specifically at the Ark of the Covenant and it's role in the temple. We learn from the Old Testament of the glory of the Temple Solomon built that housed the Ark and the function in played being the gateway to heaven where God would dwell (which we find as the language of the portal). We looked at scripture that prophesied of the restoration of Israel and the Temple but we learn that they will no longer remember the name of the Ark because it will be replaced by the true temple of God in Christ...

The lesson on June 2, 2019 was part 15 of the Genesis study. Wayne recapped this week how Genesis brought us to the Temple sub-study he has been focusing on these last several weeks because in Eden God placed the Tree of Life and it had the power to overcome death by sin that was incurred by Adam when he sinned. That is why God placed the Cherubim in Eden to guard the Tree of Life in case sinners would eat of it and live forever. There is the primal need for all of us to get access to the tree of life and that is what we have with access to the true Temple in the body where Christ is...

The lesson on May 19, 2019 was "Genesis" part 13. Wayne takes time to really explain how we have a Temple relationship in our calling after Acts 28 when the Apostle PAul revealed The Mystery because of the fundamental need for us to have access to the Tree of Life through resurrection. We learn how Adam was a type of Christ and how Eden and the Tree of Life were a type of the Tabernacle and Temple. Wayne explained how this is primal having established eternal life with the Tree of Life found in Eden. The tabernacle and Temple we for Israel the the Temple, which is The Body whose head is...

The lesson on May 12, 2019 was part 12 of the "Genesis" study. In today's lesson, Wayne takes time so show us the relationship between the temple and Eden. This is a good lesson to follow the previous one where we learned the "Temple and Its Importance to Us" which Wayne presented at the Truth for Today conference. We reflected on the blessings of Mothers Day but dived right into the scriptures regarding the Tabernacle. The first section recapped the previous lessons in that the pattern that God repeats of how He uses mans free will where they choose to deny his prompting but when they...

The message on May 5, 2019 was a review of what Wayne presented at the Truth For Today conference. He took time to identify the Temple and how it is important to us today because we learn a very important aspect of the concept of the Temple means we can understand so much more of the place for us in God's working. The scripture reading was from John 20:26-31 KJV
"26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. 27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy...

The message on April 21, 2019 was about Easter and Wayne was able to share the parallel between Genesis and John's Gospel. Wayne reflects on the special Christian message at Easter particular to the resurrection promise we share in relation to the pain we all have shared with the death of a loved one. In the promise of eternal life in Christ through the resurrection we can celebrate the gift that God gave us. As we are in the Genesis study, there is a distinct parallel between Genesis and John's Gospel. Wayne takes the time to go through the Easter message in John's Gospel and compares...

The lesson on April 14, 2019 was part 11 of the "Genesis" study. Wayne summarized the focus on Free Will and God's sovereignty in how He does not cause sin or evil acts but once men choose to do evil, as God He then can further harden their heart until they perform an evil act but God can use it for good. For example we see "eyes have they closed" which was ordained by man! As the evil act gets closer, "eyes are further closed by God". Then when the evil act happens it is ordained by God for use to His purpose. We looked at Romans 5:12 and studied the phrase "for all have sinned" and...
