The lesson on September 15, 2013 was part 22 of the "Galatians" study and opened up with chapter six.  There are three things that we need to learn as we proceed through this chapter.  First, there is a resumption of previous ideas and a conclusion in the context.  Next, there is a burden pointed out but we find actually there are two burdens identified in Galatians that need to be rightly divided so it won't show contradiction. We learned the difference between the two burdens.  One burden shouldn't be shared with anyone else.  The other type of burden was one that could be shared among...

The lesson on January 19, 2014 was part 14 of the "Ephesians" study. The series continues on in chapter four looking specifically at the "Grace" that PAul is proclaiming to the Gentiles.  Specifically the joint-heir ship, the same body and the joint partakers by the gospel.  The gospel of the unsearchable riches of Christ is a gospel that is not preached today.  It should be!  The ministry that goes on with this body is a testimony to principalities and powers in heavenly places expressing the manifold wisdom of God. The scripture reading was in Ephesians 4: 11-16 KJV "11 And he gave some...

January 6th, 2013

The lesson on January 6, 2013 was a lesson given by Wayne Stewart looking at the 12 Tribes of Israel and the Apostle Paul in the Acts Period where the Gentiles were blessed with faithful Abraham.  Then the Apostle PAul as he transitioned his ministry in the post Acts 28 prison epistles where the Gentiles received a secret blessing apart from Abraham called The Mystery.  The scripture reading was from Romans 15:8-13 KJV "8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers: 9 And that the Gentiles might glorify...

November 10th, 2013

The lesson on November 10, 2013 was part 6 of the "Ephesians" study and continued in chapter one with verses 15-19. This lesson looks at the three prayers of Paul.  The review of the previous lesson recalled the mystery (or musterion) of his will which had been revealed for the first time in Ephesians after the close of Acts.  This was a secret that was hidden in God before the foundation of the world.  The exhaulted position and hope has been revealed through PAul the prisoner of the Lord and is relevant truth for today.  Two of Paul's prayers are in the doctrinal part of Ephesians and...

March 30th, 2014

The lesson on March 30, 2014 was part 21 of the "Ephesians" study.  A review of why PAul quoted from the Old Testament in Ephesians 4, but we find that this quote showed the special name of Christ in Psalms 68.  You also find reference made to the heaven of heavens which is where Christ was placed above in his ascension of Ephesians 4.  This lesson was emphasizing you should learn three things.  1). This ministry involves a readjustment to the newly (ACTS 28) created and un‐prophesied body of Christ. 2) There are 4 gifts to the church in verse 4:11.  There are 2 foundational and readable...

May 12th, 2013

This lesson presented on May 12, 2013 was part 4 of the "Galatians" study.  The first verses of chapter two provided the detail for the study. There was a preliminary review of what was covered in part 3 and the lesson built upon that instruction and continued to explain the differences in Paul's gospel and Peter's gospel.  We further learn how the message to Israel and the Gentiles overlap regarding the context of salvation by grace.  The scripture reading was in Galatians 2:1-3 KJV "1 Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also. 2 And...

September 1st, 2013

The lesson on September 1, 2013 continued in the study of "Galatians" with part 20 and looked more into chapter 5.  As usual, Wayne gave a review of the previous lessons and then he looked at why Paul was talking to the Galatians regarding the power of circumcision in regards to salvation.  Circumcision had no power in the spirit but had huge significance in the flesh.  He was emphasizing that they were saved by grace through faith and he was opposing circumcision and receiving persecution because of it. Paul would not accept going back to the law because he wanted to move forward. ...

January 5th, 2014

The lesson on January 5, 2014 was part 12 of the "Ephesians" study.  The lesson covered chapter 3 through verse 9.  The lesson started with a review of previous truths learned from previous lessons.  Topic like "time" was discussed in that there is prophetic time in the bible associated with Israel.  When they are disobedient and were in servitude, the prophetic clock would stop while regular time was still running.  The prophetic clock has stopped now because at Acts 28:28, Israel was divorced.  There will be a time when God deals with Israel again and the prophetic clock with start again...

October 21st, 2012

The lesson on October 21, 2012 was presented by Wayne Stewart and was a continuation of the lesson entitled "Spiritual Health".  This lesson discusses the adjustment that had to take place at Acts 28:28 where Paul declared that the salvation of God was now sent to the Gentiles and they will hear it.  Afterwards, Paul wrote the book of the Ephesians and revealed a truth called The Mystery that had been hidden in God before the foundation of the world and, when Paul revealed it, the word of God was declared complete.  The lesson shows examples in scripture where teachers who knew the...

June 30th, 2013

The lesson on June 30, 2013 was part 11 of the "Galatians" study and continued in chapter 3 looking at the issue of frustrating the grace of God with the law.  Paul is explaining how the faith of Jesus Christ having been revealed in that time is the basis for the salvation of the Jew or Gentile.  Salvation did not come from the Law, because it was flawed since it relied on the Jew to follow it without fail.  Of all the laws the have been given, the Law of Moses given to Israel was the best possible one to have a saving result.  However, since mankind is sinful in nature, there was no way...
