The lesson on November 29, 2020 was part 5 of the "Hermeneutics" study. This weeks focus was on Typology. The typology in scripture are examples for us to learn. There are many types in the testimony of Jesus Christ whereas it says in John 5:39 KJV "Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me." In the New Testament we see other examples: Hebrews 4:11 Israel an example of unbelief; Hebrews 8:4,5; 9:24; 10:1 Tabernacle – example and shadow of heavenly things; Hebrews 7:3,15-17: Melchizedeck; John 3: 14-15: Brazen serpent; and 1 Corinthians 10:14 Spiritual rock. The scripture reading was from Acts 8:17-24 KJV
