This study looks at the book of Revelation from the perspective of Man, His Nature and Destiny which means the lessons will look at the judgments revealed in revelation as it pertains to man. Whether or not the perspective of eternal torment for the lost is accurate as opposed to just perishing with the appropriate amount of punishment. This study is best followed by the Man, His Nature and Destiny to provide the context of how by looking at Revelation we may expand our understanding of Man's destiny.
The lesson on May 15, 2016 was part 21 of "The Apocalypse" study. A review of the previous lesson opened up this lesson as usual, but the remaining part of the lesson really looked at the Two Witnesses in Revelation and how they are used to demonstrate God's position on the sins of the world but how He uses their death and resurrection after 3.5 days. It is also very informative to study how in their intermediate state during their death and resurrection does not include any consciousness. The intermediate state between death and resurrection does not exist. We have learned that death is an enemy that causes one to perish but for Christ and His resurrection has given us the gift of life if we choose to receive it. The scripture reading was from Revelation 11:14-19 KJV
