This study looks at the book of Revelation from the perspective of Man, His Nature and Destiny which means the lessons will look at the judgments revealed in revelation as it pertains to man. Whether or not the perspective of eternal torment for the lost is accurate as opposed to just perishing with the appropriate amount of punishment. This study is best followed by the Man, His Nature and Destiny to provide the context of how by looking at Revelation we may expand our understanding of Man's destiny.
The lesson on August 28, 2016 was part 31 of "The Apocalypse" study. Today's lesson gives a quick recap of the previous lesson and continues into chapter 15 of Revelation. The wrath of God is delivered by the seven angels but not before God takes Israel through Jacob's trouble. Wayne also takes time to explain the Calvinist view from scripture and why we cannot agree with the Calvinism perspective since we have learned how God dispenses punishment in Revelation by judging those people who haven't heard the gospel through the other books. God is a just God who does not predetermine who will be saved because he offers the free choice to whosoever will listen and recieve Christ Jesus. The scripture reading was from Revelation 15:1-8 KJV.
