Practical lessons and Right Division is focusing on the walk we should take when being worthy of the calling Right Division makes clear to us in this post Acts 28 age. In the previous study we looked at the post Acts timeframe and learned how the Apostle PAul revealed the Mystery of Ephesians 3:9. Afterwards, when you read Ephesians 4:1 KJV, PAul is saying "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,". If we are to walk worthy, we must know what our calling is! Right Division of scripture helps us understand those that are called with each calling. Therefore in this study, Wayne will help us understand how we may walk with the calling that is active today so we may be found worthy and receive the rewards that God has prepared for us.
Practical Lessons and Right Division
The lesson on September 2, 2018 was part 8 of the "Practical Lessons and Right Division" study. The scripture reading was from Ephesians 4:13-16 KJV. Wayne reviewed the interpretational note again that allowed us to review the Acts 29 position of the particular calling PAul was teaching and eventually transitioned into the Mystery. This new calling caused PAul to "mend the nets" where he lead the ministry to the Body of Christ to bring them into the new knowledge of The Mystery. In Ephesians 4, PAul is actively working to establish this calling for the perfecting of the saints, which was the "mending of the nets". The goal was to bring the Body of Christ into the knowledge of the Mystery and calling which no longer had signs and wonders but rather a new hope with the fullness of Christ. This weeks lesson continued with the importance of the Headship of Christ and the hierarchy and order that this headship establishes when followed. This is a very unpopular doctrine in today's climate and when today's churches adopt this position and incorporate this view in their churches are very damaging to the Headship of Christ. This fallout will impact those Principalities and Powers that are observing us and will eventually lead to the end of the age and the start of the judgement of Revelation.
The lesson on September 9, 2018 was part 9 of the "Practical Lessons and Right Division" study. Wayne opened up with a chapter by chapter review of Ephesians. From chapter 1, the major points were the Inheritance and predestination of God, the Greatness of his power to us who believe. Being Far above all principality and power and The FATHER gave Him to be head over all things to church (the body, fullness). Chapter 2 included the Reconciliation to God – we both have access unto the FATHER. There is One Body created (one new man) and that it is a Building fitly framed – growth unto Holy Temple, which is the Habitation of God. Chapter 3 we saw the Revelation of mystery and that Now unto principalities and powers we learn of the Purpose of the ages. PAul says we should Bow my knee unto the FATHER … every family (patria) heaven and earth That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith. Chapter 4 involved the Edifying of the body of Christ where we Grow up unto him and our Whole body fitly joined together. Chapter 5 we are encouraged to be Followers of God. This Sacrifice to God – is a sweet smelling (Sacrifice to the FATHER). We learn of Submission, headship of the husband wife. In Chapter 6, we learn further of how Children, Servants, Masters fall under the headship and that we should put on Armour of God – because we wrestle against principalities powers in heavenly places. Finally we learn of how PAul used Tychicus to spread the word. The scripture reading was in Ephesians 6:1-4 KJV
The lesson on September 16, 2018 was part 10 of the Practical Lessons and Right Division study. This weeks focus was on the house that we find in Ephesians by reviewing a concordance of where house is mentioned. We learn how this house has a family with a heirarchy reflected in the God head with God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God provides the will or plan, the Holy Spirit is the teacher and the Son carrys out the plan. In Ephesians is shows the emphasis on the headship of Christ being the head of the newly created body that we are a part of. Wayne takes us through serveral passag
The lesson on September 23, 2018 was part 11 of the "Practical Lessons and Right Division" study. This week's focus was on Ephesians 6 and the whole armor of God. Wayne majored on verse 16 which covers the Shield of Faith because of how important it is to quench the fiery darts of wicked. Is it any wonder since PAul tells us that we are a showcase to Principalities and Powers in Heavely Places demonstrating the manifold wisdom of God. We are not alone in God's plan and he is addressing spiritual wickedness in high places with the church where Christ is the head. The remaining time is s
