The U, V and W of Right Division

The U, V and W of Right Division

This study is a follow up to the ABC's of Right Division.  The lessons in this study will take a deeper look into the basis or right division and why it is important to understand how it helps you understand scripture.  It will compare other beliefs like Preterism, and those based in covenant theology and look at some critiques of what opponents of right division object to this fundamental methodology of handling scripture accurately.

Lessons

The U, V and W of Right Division - Part 11

The lesson on April 2, 2017 was part 11 of "The U, V and W of Right Division".  We have learned how they mysteries of scripture should be used to properly answer the Preterist position that all prophecy was fulfilled in AD 70.  This weeks lesson continues to look at the Mystery of God and how that is fulfilled in Christ.  We discuss how God knows the future and that God could control every aspect of the future by programming man but he didn't in that Man was made as a free agent.  We review how God controls the times and the seasons. and he does this while maintaining man’s right to choose!  God allows man to rebel against his will and through His secret purposes brings to pass other aspects of His will.  We learn how prophecy is fulfilled or delayed and when it is delayed, a “mystery” is invoked. At the end of the lesson, Wayne begins to look at the role of Elijah and how he is an important piece if Israel would have repented and accepted Jesus as Messiah. The scripture reading was from Malachi 4:1-6 KJV

The U, V and W of Right Division - Part 12

The lesson on April 9, 2017 was part 12 of "The U, V and W of Right Division".  This week Wayne takes us to Jeremiah to learn how the nation of Israel had been put in a state of "Lo Ammi" before to learn of how the should behave during the timeframes when they are "not my people" like they are now since the judgement was given in Acts 28:28.  We are learning how the Mystery of God is realized in The Mystery of Christ and further how God uses Mysteries in scripture to provide substance when prophecy is delayed.  Wayne specifically shows how The Mystery fills the void that was made after Israel did not repent during the Acts period and received judgement from the Apostle Paul (like the prophet Jeremiah) at the end of Acts.  The God choose to reveal the PAul the prisoner The Mystery in Ephesians and Colossians which is the answer to the pending prophecy that was at hand during the book of Acts.  This Mystery was hidden in God before the foundation of the world not in the Old Testament scriptures where other mysteries were hidden.  The scripture reading was from Jeremiah 26:16-19 KJV

The U, V and W of Right Division - Part 13

The lesson on April 23, 2017 was part 13 of the "U, V and W of Right Division".  Wayne took some time to share with us a 2nd Amendment perspective on suppressing terrorism in churches.  This stems from what he learned about from the testimony of Charl van Wyk who was just an ordinary Christian man until July 25, 1993 - the day that would become known for the St. James Massacre. It was on this date that Van Wyk shot back at the terrorists who were attacking an innocent congregation gathered in worship, and saved many lives in the process.  The continuation of the series in Part 13 looks at the word Mystery that appears in Ephesians six times.  There is a pattern that occurs and Wayne takes us through these six passages and teaches what significance these mean to us today.  It is a very important book the PAul the Prisoner reveals The Mystery in Ephesians 3:9 and it is the first book written after the Acts 28:28 judgement on the nation of Israel.  The scripture reading was from Ephesians 3:1-10 KJV

The U, V and W of Right Division - Part 14

The lesson on April 30, 2017 was part 14 of the "U, V and W of Right Division". Wayne covered a current topic in United States regarding free speech which comes from the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.  The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion, ensuring that there is no prohibition on the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press, interfering with the right to peaceably assemble, or prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances. He points out that today groups that are protesting calling people facist are actually facists themselves!  There are many levels of irony with this activity today.  Then Wayne moves on to look at the word Mystery in Colossians.  Before he does, he takes time to reflect on how the fundamentals of Right Division is so important.  He teaches us that if we try to live in the gospels and get our marching orders from there, we have a glass half full.  Through Right Division, we need to learn the context of scripture to know how to apply it.  Wayne finishes by show how the Apostle PAul, reveals the full cup to us in that The Mystery is given to complete the word of God.  The scripture reading was from Colossians 1: 25-29 KJV

The U, V and W of Right Division - Part 15

The lesson on May 7, 2017 was part 15 of the "U, V, and W of Right Division".  Wayne took the first few minutes to review current topics in America, in this case Globalism vs Nationalism.  We looked at the scriptures to learn how God does not like Globalism and at the judgement of the Tower of Babylon introduce different languages to create separate Nations.  No surprise that Satan is a Globalist in that he will want to control how to buy and sell on the Earth and control how people can eat.  We saw in the formation of America the righteous rebellion against Britton who was the global power of the time.  For the remainder of the lesson, Wayne looked at the full counsel of God that Paul was speaking about during the Acts period (referenced in Acts 20:27) is a different ministry than PAul has after Acts 28:28 when he was given a new revelation that was hid in God as mentioned in Colossians 1:25-26 KJV.  In the post-Acts calling, PAul emphasizes the form of sound doctrine.  We all want sound doctrine but PAul is speaking about the form of sound doctrine which means "the pattern" of right division.  The scripture reading was from 2 Timothy 4:1-3 KJV
