The lesson on March 30, 2014 was part 21 of the "Ephesians" study.  A review of why PAul quoted from the Old Testament in Ephesians 4, but we find that this quote showed the special name of Christ in Psalms 68.  You also find reference made to the heaven of heavens which is where Christ was placed above in his ascension of Ephesians 4.  This lesson was emphasizing you should learn three things.  1). This ministry involves a readjustment to the newly (ACTS 28) created and un‐prophesied body of Christ. 2) There are 4 gifts to the church in verse 4:11.  There are 2 foundational and readable TODAY and there are 2 on going that exist TODAY!!; and 3) These gifts have a threefold purpose: A. Perfecting of the saints B. Work of the ministry, and C. Edifying of the body of Christ.  The scripture reading was from Ephesians 4:11-16 KJV

The lesson on March 23, 2014 was part 20 of the "Ephesians" study.  The study continues in chapter 4 we are in the section that begins the practical section of the book.  We are challenged to endeavor to keep the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace.  These truths have been lost over time because this unity has not been kept because there are many examples of those who practice truths that are biblical but are not rightly divided.  We have a measure of grace given to us that we should use to guard this unity of the spirit.  We learn the context of verse 8 indicating that the text saying Christ descended does not mean he went to hell, but rather he decended down to the earth from the heavenlies.  The church that we are a part of is a new creation and not an evolution of the church that existed in the book of Acts and 1 Corinthians 13:10.  The scripture reading was from Psalms 69:32-35 KJV

The lesson on March 16, 2014 was part 19 of the "Ephesians" study.  Chapter four is where this lesson resides looking at the logic that PAul is suggesting we follow in that in verse 1.  He is beseeching us that we come along side him to walk worthy with the calling that we have received.  We find that we have been given our measure of grace that we should use to be part of the ministry.  Every christian has his or her own measure that we should use to help keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.  We are called into a ministry of adjustment to help christians see this unique calling.  Christians must me updated with the prison ministry of PAul. We also learn how the Psalms is grouped into 5 books that map to the Pentateuch. The Pentateuch, also known as the Five Books of Moses, is the first part of the Hebrew Bible, comprising Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.  PAul quoted a verse from Psalms 68:18 which is from the Exodus grouping of Psalms.  We learn about Christs ascension was so far above that the reference to his descending was in context down to Earth (as opposed to hell).  The scripture reading was from Ephesians 4:7-11 KJV

The lesson on March 9, 2014 was part 18 of the "Ephesians" study and continued in chapter four and is looking at the unity of the spirit.  The lesson reviews the logic that PAul is presenting to us in regards to his calling which we are asked to walk along side PAul in this high calling which we are called to join. We learn of the differences of the body spoken about in 1 Corinthians and Ephesians.  The body of believers in Acts, spoken of in 1 Corinthians has within it healings and gifts whereas the body in Ephesians does not have signs and wonders.  PAul tells us in Ephesians that there is one body where Christ is the head. The subject of baptism was used to learn why PAul says there is one baptism, and this baptism in spiritual, not with water. The scripture reading was in Psalms 68:15-18 KJV

The lesson on March 24, 2013 was part 8 of the "ABC's of Right Division" study.   This study intends to bring the new student to understand the basics of the Acts 28 position and proceeded to answer some basic questions by approaching scripture in this way.  The "fulness" of Christ is discussed and explained as to what fills the gap that occurs from Acts 28 and the revealed plan of God with Israel.  Christ is the head and the church is the body and this is what is filling the rent that occurred from the judgement in Acts 28 to the nation of Israel.  The scripture reading was from 1 Corinthians 15:7-10 KJV
