The lesson on November 11, 2018 was part 4 of the "My Gospel" study. This lesson again wraps up the three references the Apostle Paul made to his gospel. Wayne took time to explain in his own life how he became a christian and the journey he went through starting from an Acts 2 position then eventually moving to a Mid-Acts view because he found that C.R.
My Gospel Lessons
The lesson on November 4, 2018 was part 3 of the "My Gospel" study. This lesson wrapped up the third reference to My Gospel that the Apostle PAul made in 2 Timothy 2:8. The first reference was in relation to the judgement that will be performed on man according to my gospel. The second was justification was provided in two ways, through the law or through the work of Christ but through the law would never work because we are all the descendants of Adam and his original sin and Paul revealed this truth that was a mystery because it was hidden in prophetical scriptures that had to be...
The lesson on October 28, 2018 was part 2 of the "My Gospel" study. This week Wayne focused on the second place in scripture where the Apostle Paul mentions "my gospel" in Romans 16:25 KJV "Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began". This passage has several complexities that we needed to understand which was taught by looking at a detailed diagram that displayed the verse in a way we can understand what Paul was saying how a Jew or Gentile...
The lesson on October 21, 2018 was part 1 of the "My Gospel" study. Wayne introduces the three places where the Apostle Paul mentions "My Gospel" with then intent of taking time to study each reference to provide context as to what this gospel Paul claims as his personal gospel. The three references are:
The final lesson in the Romans Study was given on August 30, 2009. The lesson serves as a springboard into a study of the mysteries of the prison epistles where there are 12 references, 10 of those are in Ephesians and Colossians, and two are in Timothy and they all have a bearing on our private mail. But before we go there, this lesson finishes off the Romans Study by looking more into Paul’s Gospel. In review, we learn that God began to deal with man in the garden with Adam. Sin overtook man in the garden so God started dealing with mankind and sin overtook mankind.
The third lesson in the Romans study was given on February 1, 2009 and covered the first eleven verses in chapter 2. Before the study dived into chapter two, there is a 10 minute commentary on the Boy Scouts of America and the homosexual issue in the country today. Christians have become desensitized to what is called wrong by God. There is moral relativism, value clarification and the like that is taking the place of scripture in defining what is good.
Pleroma - Part 12. The lesson on September 21, 2003 picks up with the Times of the Gentiles study and reviews the period of the Kings in Israel. It then continues with the Birth of Christ and into the New Testament where all that was promised to Israel was in focus. The New Covenant was in scope as Israel was called upon to believe on the Messiah so the Kingdom would be restored to Israel. The kingdom that was lost when the Time of the Gentiles began was ready to be restored because of the offering of the King, Christ Jesus was at hand.
The lesson on 05-27 continues to study what Paul calls “ My Gospel” as mentioned in Romans 16:25-27. What was Paul trying to convey? There are 15 “gospels” in scripture and it’s very important to apply the principles of right division and to understand what “My Gospel” entails. The lesson also celebrates the holiday of Memorial Day in America, which honors those who gave their lives during wartime for the freedoms we enjoy today. Click here to listen now.
This lesson is Part 4 and gets into the subject of "The Mystery" compared with "A Mystery." The scripture reading is Romans 16:25-27 KJV: "25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:
27 To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen."
The lesson on February 27, 1983 was part 17 in the study "Sacred Secret and opened with the scripture reading was in 1 Corinthians 15:1-11 KJV "1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the...
