The lesson on February 21, 2010 was the 4th lesson on the subject of fear.  The source of fear is the devil and it’s important to be familiar with his devices.  We are told in Ephesians to beware of the wiles of the devil which is why God gave us the Armor of God.  We have already received victory over the devil through calvary but he is actively trying to give us fear today to make us a casualty in our walk.  In John 5:24 Jesus said in John 5:24 KJV “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” {C}These little situations we encounter in this world will try to take our mind off of Christ.  God want’s you to be happy, wealthy, and wise and that is where faith in Christ and the word all start to come together… but it is His plan for us, not ours!  You are not in charge!  When we think we are, we end up making mistakes.  If our focus is right, when we make another mistake, we will say that I just sent another sin to calvary that my Savior had to bear.  The lesson picks back up in Matthew 13 where we were learning about the different soils where the seed hits.  This really is not an evangelical passage but rather a passage speaking about the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven.  He has a particularly unique kingdom for Israel and that is here on Earth. In Matthew 13:11 KJV Jesus says “He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.”  Keeping the seed passage in its proper interpretation focuses on the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven and not on evangelical scenarios. The three grounds covered in Matthew 13 represent the world, the flesh, and the devil.  The devil reprensents the birds that came and stole the seeds.  In verse 20 we see the seed cast in stony places and this represents the flesh.
