Lessons

The lesson on July 11, 2010 looked at Proverbs 4:23 KJV which was “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”  This lesson looks at the issues of life and the issues from death as referenced in Psalms 68:20 KJV “He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death.” We learned in John 3:17-21 KJV “17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”  Why does man need to be saved?  Romans 3:23; 6:23 tells us. “23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” “23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
