Leland Maples runs the LOOP’s Ministries (Loved Ones Of Prisoners) and leads a Thursday night bible study held in the Rec Room at Life Change Baptist Church in Odessa Texas.  The Rec Room message on Thursday, September 16th was entitled “Try to Get the Big Picture”  Special music was by Charles Reynolds at this meeting.  Most people know the Bible by bits and pieces and their pieces never seem to fit together.  Some scripture is general (continual) truth – the same all the time.  Some scrpture is specific truth – it applies only to specific situations, people, time, etc.  Some scripture is geographical truth – applies only to certain places (Israel).  Some scripture is timely truth – which is a truth for a specific time (animal sacrifices).
