The lesson on February 27, 2010 was a break from the study “From the Beginning” and took a side study to look at the word “kingdom”.  We find in scripture that there a many “kingdoms” and we need to take the time to identify them and compare the differences for the purpose of learning which one applies to whom.  Before the lesson started an example was given in a sentence: “I enjoy being in my car, eating a candy bar while listening to the radio.”  The lesson loooks at the sentence and explains how one should read and study what was said.  After this example, the lesson turned to the Kingdom study, identifying the difference between the Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of His Dear Son.  Be sure and download the handouts while listening to the lesson.  The scripture reading was in Colossians 1:10-14 KJV “10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; 12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:”
