The lesson September 2, 2012 begins a study on the Four Days in Scripture. Study of the scripture is a challenge, however, we have a responsibility as stewards of the fellowship of the mystery to do this and try to make everything as simple to understand as possible to others. There are many mysteries in the scripture and we must note their differences. We will begin first with the Day of Man — the day in which we are living. Then there is the second Day of Christ, the third Day of the Lord and finally the fourth Day of God. Most people today are looking forward to the day of the Lord, but most don’t even know about the day of Christ. Many think that when the day of man is over that God’s wrath will come down. There is a day when that will happen, but we know that what instigates it is the return of Elijah. Today’s scripture is found in 1 Corinthians 4:1-4 KJV: “1 Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. 2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. 3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man’s judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self. 4 For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.”
