Leland Maples runs the LOOP’s Ministries (Loved Ones Of Prisoners) and leads a Thursday night bible study held in the Rec Room at Life Change Baptist Church in Odessa Texas.  The Rec Room message on Thursday, September 20, 2012 was entitled “The Unknown Jesus” and was given by Leland.  Special music was by Doug Herget.

The Apostle John got to see Jesus like no other man.

• He walked with Jesus as a Man (3.5 years)
• He talked with the resurrected Jesus (40 days)
• He saw the glorified Jesus (Revelation 1:10-18)

10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, 11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. 12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me.
