The lesson on October 20, 2013 was part 3 of the “Ephesians” study and reviewed the high points from the previous lesson before moving into the main emphasis. In Ephesians 4:1, which is the start of the second major section in Ephesians, the word “beseech” means along side.  Paul is calling you alongside your calling whereby you are callled!  You have to understand the calling that Paul is disclosing to you now in this age.  Paul in Ephesians is revealing the Mystery, which was hidden before the foundation of the world (as opposed to from or since) and is a special truth given to Paul the prisoner of Christ.  Paul tells us in this sacred secret that you have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. In the first 14 verses of Ephesians, we learn of the Will of the Father (1:3-6), the Work of the Son (1:7-11), and the Witness of the Holy Spirit (1:12-14). Finally, the new part of the lesson teaches us about spiritual blessings as opposed to carnal blessings.  We learn the difference of blessings before Acts 28 when comparing our spiritual blessings with previous prayer promises.  Without RightDivison, the christian will be frustrated if they expect blessings based on the previous administration when Gentiles were a part of Israels calling.  The scripture reading was in Ephesians 1:7-11 KJV “7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; 8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; 9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: 10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: 11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:”
