The message on April 20, 2014 was on the resurrection of Jesus Christ in celebration of Easter. It is such an important event to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.  The idea of an empty grave and Jesus Christ victory over death is unique to Christianity.  We witness ourselves getting older and dying, day by day just by getting older but Jesus defeated death and allows us victory.  We read in scripture that Jesus Christ was sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.  However, we learn through right division that the risen Christ Jesus called the Paul to become the apostle to the Gentiles.  It is from this apostle, that we learn that the death of the cross was payment for sin for every man.  Later on, we learn to rightly divide the Apostle Paul’s ministry where his post Acts 28 prison ministry is particularly written to the Gentiles and we learn of the position we have with him, because of the resurrection.  You may also view the video of this lesson in our video room.  The scripture reading was from Hebrews 2: 14-15 KJV “14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”
