Lessons

The lesson on April 12, 2015 was part 24 of the “First Corinthians” study.  Continuing on in chapter ten, this lesson looks at popular passage regarding tempatation and the way the Lord gives you to overcome it. Prior to this emphasis, a review was provided over the different baptisms found in scripture and which on applies to us in the post-Acts period.  The scripture reading was from 1 Corinthians 10:12-14 KJV

“12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. 13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 14 Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.”
