The lesson on January 8, 2017 was part 1 of “The U, V and W of Right Division” study.  This introductory lesson explains how we will take a deeper look into right division by comparing it the covenant theology.  We learn how important it is to realize your calling in scrpture and we learn that the calling we have today is a high calling compared to the calling that the nation of Israel received. We will look at the criticisms of right division.  This study will be bible centric and used to study denominations to see what they believe. Today’s lesson looked at the calling that Israel had in the Old and New Testament expressly identified by the Apostle Paul during the Acts and other books written during the Acts period.  The scripture reading was from Romans 9:1-5 KJV

“1 I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost, 2 That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart. 3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh: 4 Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;5 Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.”
