Lessons

The lesson on July 8, 2018 was part 1 of the “Practical Lessons and Right Division” study.  This study follows the Acts 29 which was a deep theoretical look at the post Acts transition from Israel to the Church which is His Body where Christ is the head.  This lesson is the first one in this study which focuses on the practical aspect of Right Division.  Wayne is often theoritical in his studies but this group of lessons will look at the practical aspect of our calling.  The motivation to kick this study off comes from Ephesians 4:1 where PAul states to us “I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called”.  Wayne explains that the first three chapters of Ephesians are filled with dispensational and doctrinal truths and the last three chapters are filled with the practical walk.  A worthy walk comes after laying down the proper dispensational and doctrinal truths.  Wayne teaches us about the “Walk” and the “Calling” and finished with election.  The scripture reading was from Romans 9:5-8 KJV

“5 Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen. 6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: 7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.”
