The lesson on July 22, 2018 was part 3 of the “Practical Lesson and Right Division” study.  In this weeks lesson, Wayne takes time to review the distinctiveness of our walk in this age or within the calling of The Mystery, which PAul revealed from prison during Acts 29.  Ephesians has much emphasis on the practical walk in chapters 4-6.  In Ephesians 6:20-21 when PAul says “For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. 21 But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things:”.  Wayne teaches us how important the context is in learning how the distinctiveness of the proper walk.  We review again the detail on the motivation of the calling that PAul expounds on Ephesians 4:1 but then dives into Ephesians 3:9-10 “9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: 10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,” and focuses on the intent to display the manifold wisdom of God to principalities and powers by the church which his body where Christ is the head which we are a part of.  We learn more of these principalities and powers and where they reside and how they are a part of God’s redemptive plan.  Wayne explored the thought of where they reside in the heavenly places and set up lessons for the tabernacle in Numbers which was designed as an pattern from what is in heaven.  The scripture reading was from Colossians 1:14-19 KJV

“14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. 19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;”
