Lessons

The lesson on September 2, 2018 was part 8 of the “Practical Lessons and Right Division” study.  The scripture reading was from Ephesians 4:13-16 KJV.  Wayne reviewed the interpretational note again that allowed us to review the Acts 29 position of the particular calling PAul was teaching and eventually transitioned into the Mystery.  This new calling caused PAul to “mend the nets” where he lead the ministry to the Body of Christ to bring them into the new knowledge of The Mystery.  In Ephesians 4, PAul is actively working to establish this calling for the perfecting of the saints, which was the “mending of the nets”.  The goal was to bring the Body of Christ into the knowledge of the Mystery and calling which no longer had signs and wonders but rather a new hope with the fullness of Christ.   This weeks lesson continued with the importance of the Headship of Christ and the hierarchy and order that this headship establishes when followed.  This is a very unpopular doctrine in today’s climate and when today’s churches adopt this position and incorporate this view in their churches are very damaging to the Headship of Christ.  This fallout will impact those Principalities and Powers that are observing us and will eventually lead to the end of the age and the start of the judgement of Revelation.

“13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.”
