The lesson on October 21, 2018 was part 1 of the “My Gospel” study.  Wayne introduces the three places where the Apostle Paul mentions “My Gospel” with then intent of taking time to study each reference to provide context as to what this gospel Paul claims as his personal gospel.  The three references are:  

1. Romans 2:16 KJV  “In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.”
2. Romans 16:25 KJV “Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,”
3. 2 Timothy. 2:8 KJV “Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:”

This lesson explained the high level context of when these were mentioned and then spent time on the Romans 2 reference.  The scripture reading was from Romans 1:9-13 KJV

“9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers; 10 Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you. 11 For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; 12 That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me. 13 Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.”
