The lesson on December 8, was part 35 of the “Genesis” study.  Wayne takes little time to review what we have learned before but gets into the detail of our fullness being of the church which is his body where Christ is the head.  In this lesson we learn to identify the callings of various churches that have been identified in the Old and New Testament and the responsibilities and characteristics that these churches were given and what purposes they had.  You have to rightly divide the churches found in scripture so you will not expect results coming from the doctrines given to that church in that age. It all led up the an introduction to the three spheres of blessing.  One was those given to Israel which consists of a land grant and Jerusalem where Israel is above the Nations.  The second being New Jerusalem coming down from heaven down to this Earth for Israel to reside in and Israel is above the Angels. The third sphere of blessing is in the heavenly places where members of that church (being neither Jew or Gentile) where Christ is the head and his body (the church) which is fullness and designated as being above principalities and powers as described in Ephesians 1:20-23 KJV “20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.”  The scripture reading was from 2 Timothy 1:8-14 KJV

“8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; 9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, 10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: 11 Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. 12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. 13 Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. 14 That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.”
