Lessons

The lesson on March 15, 2020 was part 47 of the “Genesis” study.  Today’s lesson continued to look at the days of Noe and focused on understanding the prophecy of the possible coming of the Son of Man during the Acts period. Luke 21 divides into the coming of the son of man, the time immediately before and the that which relates to prophecy concerning the disciples (Lk 21:12  ff).before the extreme end of the tribulation. The books 1st 2nd 3rd John 1st 2nd Peter, James, and Jude find their context at that time.  After Israel’s defection Paul the prisoner was given a unique and different ministry to the Gentile, a dispensational boundary was crossed.  After Acts 28, it all changed with the revelation given to him for us.  The emphasis of the lesson today was to understand that there are two last days involved with these ministries.  The last days that were likened unto the days of Noe in Matthew 24 during the Acts period are different last days that PAul the prisoner describes for our age as it relates to the Mystery.  This lesson compares these last days and looks at the Angelic activity that occurs in both.  The discipline of the Right Division of scripture is paramount if the student of scriptures is to find the correct direction in life.  The scripture reading was from 2 Thessalonians 2:1-6 KJV

“1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.”
