Lessons

The lesson taught on June 14, 2020 was an introduction to the new study on “John’s Gospel”.  Wayne takes time to explain why he is motivated to study the Gospel of John, particularly how it is of a unique context verses Matthew, Mark and Luke.  John is written for the Gentile.  We were given homework to download a book in PDF form and study for the next lesson.  Of the many signs that were given, there are only 8 miracles identified in John and they were for the Gentiles.  The unique aspect of John is that it will describe the “highways” ministry to whosoever will come to the wedding.  John 3:16 is open to everyone and this calling will save many people, especially those who never come to the knowledge of the Mystery.  The scripture reading was from John 20:30-31 KJV

“30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: 31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”
