Lessons

The lesson on May 20, 2018 was part 7 of the “Acts 29” study.  Wayne briefly reviewed what we learned in part 6 and proceeded to take us on a journey to better understand the transition from Acts 28:31 to the revelation of The Mystery.  The microscope is looking at the evidence of how the Kingdom of God, which was referenced 7 times in Acts the last being in verse 31 which is the last verse.  The next time PAul brings it up is in Colossians 4:11 KJV when he is describing those of the circumcision that were fellow workers in the Kingdom of God.  PAul specifically calls them fellow workers in circumcision because that was the message he was continuing in Acts 28:31 and beyond (i.e. Acts 29) until the revelation of The Mystery.  Most all of Acts 28ers who have had their systematic write in the revelation of The Mystery in Acts 28:28-31 must come to the conclusion that it was not revealed here and Paul continued with the Kingdom of God message of salvation is received by the Gentiles was part of the prophetic plan and the highways and byways ministry. The primary questions Wayne presents at the end of the lesson involved  1) What happens when Israel becomes Lo-ammi? 2) Does the prophecy stop? and 3) Does God stop using Israel’s prophets? He states that in the coming lessons he will try to answer those questions to get further clarity for the period described as Acts 29 which leads up to the revelation of The Mystery. The scripture reading was in Matthew 16:21-23 KJV

“21 From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. 22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. 23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.”
