The lesson on September 19, 2021, was part 9 of the “Bible Inspiration and Preservation” study. This lesson established the Godly doctrine that we should trust that establishes the preservation of scripture over what other men have said in their textual criticism and opinions. The scriptures are readable and authoritative as it says in Ephesians 3:4 KJV “4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)” and in Colossians 4:16 KJV “16 And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye likewise read the epistle from Laodicea.” Paul was asking us to compare his knowledge of the Mystery of Christ to the revelation of The Mystery. The Mystery of Christ runs through all of scripture. If we are to compare it with The Mystery of Ephesians 3:9 and Colossians 1:25, 26 it certainly implies that God had preserved His Word. God had set aside and used Godly people for this as said in Psalm 4:3 KJV “But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.” In the Mystery books, we are encouraged to live Godly. 1 Timothy 1:4 KJV says “4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.” 2 Timothy 3:12 KJV says “12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” We must believe that God has preserved His word. The scripture reading was from 1 Timothy 3:14-16 KJV

“14 These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly: 15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. 16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”
