Lessons

The lesson on December 21, 2014 was on Christmas. This message studied how the Word existed before anything was created, is God and then became flesh and tabernaceled with us.  Christ was born of the virgin Mary without the sin inheritance from Adam passed onto every human at conception.  Since Christ Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit, he was born without original sin.  He lived a sinless life and gave up his life so we may live, if we accept the gift that God gave us in his Son. The scripture reading was from Luke 1:1-4 KJV “1 Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us, 2 Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word; 3 It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus, 4 That thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed.”
