Leland Maples runs the LOOP’s Ministries (Loved Ones Of Prisoners) and leads a Thursday night bible study held in the Rec Room at Life Change Baptist Church in Odessa Texas.  The Rec Room message on Thursday, September 29, 2011 was entitled “Don’t Get Your Gospel Mixed Up!” and was given by Leland.  Special music was by Delores Andrews.{C}

There are different gospels according to Galatians 1:6-9. The true gospel can be perverted.

Paul’s Gospel from 1 Corinthians 15:1-4

1. “Christ died… according to the scriptures…” Negative
2. “Christ died for our sins…” Negative
3. “Christ… was buried…” Negative
4. “Christ… rose again according to the scriptures.” Positive

The scripture reading was from 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV “1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
