The lesson on August 23, 2015 was part 37 of the “First Corinthians” study.  There was a review of the last lesson but it was brief in order to get the the scriptures of 1 Corinthians 15:5-11 particularly in verses 11.  Those that are of Mid-Acts persuasion, they look at what Paul was saying in verse 11.  This lesson teaches us to identify the 14 books written by Paul, 7 of which were in the context of the Acts period.  First Corinthians is one of those books so it is no wonder that Paul says whether the message he preached by him or they, they believed.  This shows that Paul’s ministry in Acts was in agreement with what the twelve were teaching and there was commonality.  It wasn’t until after Acts 28 that God revealed the Mystery to PAul the prisoner of Christ where the new program was given, apart from Israel to the Gentiles.  The scripture reading was in 1 Corinthians 15:5-11 KJV

“5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: 6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. 7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. 8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.9 For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. 11 Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.”
