Lessons

The lesson on March 31, 2019 was Part 9 of the “Genesis” study.  Today, Wayne looked one of the foundational truth’s that was established with Adam in that God created Adam with free will but still remains sovereign.  The Sovereignty of God and the Free Will of Man is an important trruth and we looked at how it was important in Eden and also how God uses man’s free will in the hardening of Israel.  Wayne refuted the claim that man’s free will ended with Adam’s fall and spent the time in scripture show how that was imporant when Jesus came as Messiah to the nation of Israel.  God used their hardened heart to have his only begotton son die on the cross and in that act, become the savior of the world if they would receive that gift.  We reviewed how that also was important in the Acts 28 and Acts 29 period where God revealed His secret purpose to those of us who accept The Mystery.  The scripture reading was in John 6:40-45 KJV

“40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. 41 The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven. 42 And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven? 43 Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.”
