Leland Maples runs the LOOP’s Ministries (Loved Ones Of Prisoners) and leads a Thursday night bible study held in the Rec Room at Life Change Baptist Church in Odessa Texas.  The Rec Room message on Thursday, October 20, 2011 was entitled “Higher Power” and was given by Leland.  Special music was by Charles Reynolds.

In this message, Leland provides a comparison of the “higher power” in Alcohol Ananymous and the Bible.  A power may be a force or a thing; electric power, nuclear power, wind power, etc.  A power is not a person, God is.
