The lesson on December 3, 2017 was part 2 of the “Mid-Acts or Acts 28?” study.  In this lesson Wayne continues to describe the timeline related to the Acts period, from Acts 2, then 9, then 13 or 17.  It is usually agreed upon within the Mid-Acts groups that Acts 2 is not where the Church began because that was when the Holy Spirit was given at Pentecost.  Mid-Acts believers range from Acts 9 thru 17 but there is a problem because Israel is still going because it is Jew first, even when you read of the gospel Paul was preaching in Romans (which was written late Acts period).  The Church which The Lord Jesus Christ is head is not part of Israel or the Old Testament scriptures or the prophets but a new revelation after Acts 28.  This revelation was not evolved out of the Acts but something totally new, hidden in God before the foundation of the world.  The scripture reading was from Romans 11:1-5 KJV

“1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying, 3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. 4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. 5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.”
