Lessons

The lesson on March 26, 2017 was part 10 of “The U, V and W of Right Division”.  In part 10, Wayne is continuing the studies of the Mysteries found in scripture.  This week he studies the Mystery of God an how it relates to Christ being manifested all through the Old Testament.  The Mystery of Christ is also studied in relation to the Mystery of God.  We then look at Israel and how Moses brought them out of Egypt to the Mount Sinai where he communicated with God.  We compared the movement of Moses up and down the holy mountain and the behavior of Israel in relation to the promised land, particularly with it being 11 days journey from where they were camped.  The nation of Israel did not posses the land that was promised and through rebellion spent 40 years in the wilderness until that entered the land.  Wayne explained that the book of Acts was the same thing in that if they had accepted Christ as Saviour and Lord, the promises of would have taken place and Revelation would have unfolded.  This is exactly what the Preterist are claiming took place in AD 70.  What they don’t recognize it all that promises and prophecy that was ready to happen was put on hold because God revealed The Mystery that was in the post-Acts books of the Apostel PAul in starting with Ephesians.  This body of truth was hidden in God before the foundation of the world and has with it a new hope and calling, seperate than that of Israel.  The scripture reading was from Psalms 110:1-7 KJV

“1 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. 2 The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. 3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth. 4 The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. 5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. 6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries. 7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.”
