Leland Maples runs the LOOP’s Ministries (Loved Ones Of Prisoners) and leads a Thursday night bible study held in the Rec Room at Life Change Baptist Church in Odessa Texas.  The Rec Room message on Thursday, April 28, 2011 was entitled “To Change or Not to Change” and was given by Leland.

Rob Bell, pastor of Mars Hill Baptist Church in Grand Rapids, MI (10K+ membership), graduate of Wheaton College and Fuller Theological Seminary, and a strong voice in the emerging church group and new evangelicals, has a new book, “Love Wins: A Book About Heaven, Hell, and the Fate of Every Person Who Ever Lived.”  It draws the inevitable conclusion that there is no hell!  Therefore Leland has three questions for him:

1. If there is no hell, why does he pastor a church?
2. If there is no hell, why does he have a bible?
3. If there is no hell, why did he write the book?
