Leland Maples runs the LOOP’s Ministries (Loved Ones Of Prisoners) and leads a Thursday night bible study held in the Rec Room at Life Change Baptist Church in Odessa Texas.  The Rec Room message on Thursday, August 19th was entitled “Why Christians Go Bad.”  Special music was by Doug Herget at this meeting.  The message spoke about everyone knows someone who once served the Lord and now lives like the devil.  Whether one has gone back to the “crack house” or the lake house, Jesus Christ no longer seems to matter.  What happened?  1. They were never saved.  2. Saved people still sin.  3. Saved people are miserable because of their sin.
