Scripture Inspired and Preserved

The Bible we have today was written over 1000 years, using 40 different authors, in three languages and is arranged in 66 books. It is inspired by God. God inspired these men to write what they did because the internal evidence is overwhelming that the inspiration came from God. Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 3:16 KJV "16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." Recognizing that God used these men to record his revealed plan and finishing his work when the Apostle Paul was told to reveal the Mystery, the sacred secret of God, is astounding. In Colossians 1:25-27 KJV Paul says "25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; 26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: 27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:" With the revelation of the Mystery, God's word is complete. God also provided a way to properly interpret the scriptures with the internal laws found inside. Study these materials to learn about the inspiration and how to study so you may receive the proper interpretion of scripture.
